Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Architectural Assistant for a fully remote role focused on Soweto and surrounding communities. You will support senior architects, assist with design documents, and contribute to research and project information management in a flexible, digitally-driven environment.

The ideal candidate is pursuing or has recently completed an Architecture degree, with foundational design knowledge and proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture.
• Foundational knowledge of architectural design principles.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• A self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist architects and designers in preparing architectural drawings, models, and presentations.
• Conduct research on building codes, materials, and sustainable design practices.
• Help manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy and organization.
• Coordinate with team members and consultants in a virtual environment.
• Support the administrative aspects of architectural projects as needed.
• Learn and apply firm standards and procedures in all assigned tasks.
