Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a visionary Architectural Designer to join a fully remote team based in Pietermaritzburg. You will conceptualize and develop innovative designs from sketches to detailed documentation, collaborating with clients and project managers remotely.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, with solid knowledge of SA building regulations and excellent communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
Proven experience as Architectural Designer with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
Solid knowledge of South African building regulations.

Responsibilities

Develop and present conceptual architectural designs, sketches, and 3D models for client review.
Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and specifications for construction.
Collaborate with remote project teams, consultants, and clients via virtual channels.
Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards.
Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for new projects, reporting findings to stakeholders.
Manage project documentation and maintain organized digital project files.
