Placements24 is seeking an innovative Architectural Designer to join a fully remote team serving clients across South Africa. You will conceptualize and develop architectural designs from home, using advanced digital tools to collaborate with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master-level degree in Architecture, Design, or a closely related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing architectural design skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software (Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills suitable for remote work.
• Self-motivated with good time management and ability to meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative architectural concepts and design proposals translating client needs into visual representations.
• Create detailed design development documents including 3D models, renderings, and preliminary construction drawings.
• Collaborate with remote team members, consultants, and clients via virtual tools.
• Research materials, building systems and sustainable design strategies to inform decisions.
• Participate in virtual design critiques and help improve design processes and standards.
