Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers while creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This is a remote SA opportunity focusing on thoughtful outreach and high-quality engagements using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
