Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Appliance Repair Technician to join our service team. You will provide expert remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for a wide range of home appliances, guiding customers through steps and dispatching on-site technicians when needed.

Based in your designated location, you will handle remote support and occasional hands-on visits in the Kimberley area for critical cases or training, ensuring prompt, clear communication and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or in a related technical service role.
• Strong understanding of home appliance types and failure modes.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication with customers over the phone or video.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote diagnostic support for malfunctioning appliances.
• Guide customers through troubleshooting steps via phone or video call.
• Determine the course of action: remote resolution, on-site visits, or parts ordering.
• Dispatch and coordinate with on-site technicians.
• Document customer interactions and service findings.
• Maintain a knowledge base of common appliance issues.
