Placements24 is seeking a Remote Aerospace Structural Design Engineer to lead design and analysis of critical aircraft components from a fully remote setting. You will use CATIA/SolidWorks, NX, ANSYS/ABAQUS to ensure weight, strength, and safety targets are met.

Collaborating with manufacturing and systems teams, you will develop detailed drawings, perform trade studies, and document results to support compliance with FAA/EASA standards while advancing aerospace structural integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or related field.
• 5+ years in aerospace structural design and analysis.
• Proficient with CAD/FEA tools listed.
• Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural components using CAD/CAE.
• Perform FEA to assess integrity under loads.
• Create drawings, models, and specifications for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and systems engineers.
