Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Aircraft Quality Inspector to join their expanding team in a remote-first role based in South Africa. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in aviation quality assurance or aircraft maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of SA CAA, EASA, FAA regulations and quality management systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote audits and reviews of aircraft maintenance records and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Verify all maintenance activities comply with manufacturer specs, airworthiness directives, and aviation regulations.
• Assess and approve vendor quality control procedures and performance metrics.
• Investigate quality discrepancies and non-conformances, recommending and tracking corrective actions.
• Provide expert guidance on quality assurance best practices to maintenance teams and external partners.
