Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Aviation Quality Assurance Inspector for a fully remote role. You will review aircraft maintenance records, perform virtual audits, and ensure compliance with SACAA, EASA, and FAA standards to uphold airworthiness.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in aviation QA, and is proficient with digital documentation, reporting, and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
• AME license or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years in aviation quality assurance or aircraft maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and QMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote QA reviews of aircraft maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation.
• Conduct virtual audits of maintenance facilities, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., SACAA, EASA, FAA) and company quality standards.
• Identify non-conformities, defects, and areas for improvement in quality processes.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
• Prepare detailed quality assurance reports and present findings to management.
• Maintain accurate and organized quality assurance records.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
• Stay updated on the latest aviation regulations, industry standards, and best practices in quality assurance.
• Contribute to the Continuous Improvement of the QMS.
