Job summary

Flsmidth seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to lead remote technical operations, supervising licensed engineers and ensuring airworthiness of the fleet while coordinating maintenance activities across time zones.

Use digital platforms to manage planning, ensure compliance with SACAA and manufacturer specs, mentor the team, and maintain meticulous maintenance records for safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license (e.g., CASA, EASA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of airframe and engine systems across multiple aircraft types.
• Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems and remote collaboration tools.
• Solid understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., SACAA) and safety management principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all aircraft maintenance activities remotely.
• Ensure all maintenance complies with regulatory requirements, manufacturer specs, and company procedures.
• Manage technical aspects of maintenance planning and execution to ensure timely completion.
• Supervise and mentor a team of aircraft maintenance engineers via virtual channels.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, component changes and service bulletins.
• Liaise with flight operations, engineering and QA to resolve issues efficiently.
