Placements24 seeks a Remote Aircraft Avionics Technician to provide expert remote support for avionics systems on a wide range of aircraft. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and guide repairs via remote tools, collaborating with global teams and manufacturers to minimize downtime.

The role requires a licensed avionics specialist with 5+ years hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote, international environment.

Qualifications

• A recognized aircraft maintenance license with avionics specialization (e.g., EASA B2, FAA Avionics) or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with aircraft avionics systems.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing avionics equipment (GPS, FMS, Autopilots, EFIS).
• Familiarity with avionics data networks (ARINC 429, AFDX).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote diagnostic support for aircraft avionics systems across communication, navigation, radar, and flight control.
• Troubleshoot complex avionics issues using remote access tools and diagnostic software.
• Analyze fault data and maintenance logs to identify root causes of failures.
• Develop troubleshooting guides and technical advisories for avionics maintenance.
• Collaborate with on-site teams and manufacturers to resolve technical queries.
