The role requires 10+ years in software architecture with 5+ years in AI/ML, cloud experience across AWS/Azure/GCP, deep ML concepts and MLOps, and strong communication in a remote setting.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and select appropriate AI technologies, frameworks, and platforms (e.g., cloud-based AI services, open-source libraries). Develop technical roadmaps and blueprints for AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure the scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of AI architectures. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and cloud computing technologies. Create comprehensive documentation for AI solutions, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and best practices. Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within the remote AI engineering community.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML solutions. Proven experience designing and deploying complex AI/ML systems in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and MLOps practices. Expertise in data architecture, data engineering, and big data technologies. Strong proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in AI (e.g., Python, Java, Scala). Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, adept at working in a remote setting. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and drive consensus among diverse teams.
