Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced AI Ethics & Governance Lead to drive responsible AI initiatives from a remote capacity. This senior role will shape ethical frameworks, policies, and governance structures guiding AI development and deployment across the organization.

You will collaborate with legal, engineering, and product teams to ensure fair, transparent, and accountable use of AI, stay ahead of global regulations, and foster a culture of integrity, innovation, and responsible

Qualifications

10+ years in ethics, governance, or policy with at least 5 years in AI ethics.
Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and societal impact.
Proven experience in developing ethical frameworks and governance models.
Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management; strong communication.
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives remotely.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage the organization's AI ethics and governance strategy.
Establish policies for responsible AI development, data privacy, and bias mitigation.
Conduct AI ethics risk assessments and audits with actionable findings.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, engineering, and product teams.
Monitor global AI regulations and emerging ethical challenges.
Promote a culture of ethical AI awareness across the company.
