Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist to advance our client’s agritech solutions across South Africa. This fully remote role focuses on promoting precision farming tools, IoT devices, and data analytics to farmers and agribusinesses, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

You will work independently, build lasting relationships, deliver compelling value propositions, and contribute to sustainable agricultural practices while meeting and exceeding sales targets in

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within agriculture, technology, or related fields.
• Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Strong understanding of agricultural practices and the role of technology in modern farming.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in CRM software and related sales tools.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and passionate about agriculture and technology.
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, or related field is a plus.
• Experience in B2B sales is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets for agricultural technology products.
• Identify and prospect new clients, including individual farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural enterprises.
• Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand clients' farming challenges and requirements.
• Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of agritech solutions, including precision farming, data management, and IoT devices.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up.
• Provide pre-sales technical support and post-sales customer guidance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
