Placements24 is seeking a skilled Agricultural Data Analyst to join a fully remote team. The role focuses on transforming complex agricultural data into actionable insights, including crop yields, soil conditions, weather, and market trends.

You will build predictive models, develop dashboards, and collaborate with agronomists and researchers to drive data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and proven experience with Python, R, SQL, and data

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Agricultural Science).
Proven experience as a Data Analyst with agricultural datasets preferred.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with Tableau or Power BI for dashboards and reporting.
Strong communication and ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze large agricultural datasets (production, environment, market intelligence).
Develop predictive models for yields, diseases, and resource needs.
Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Identify trends to inform strategic planning and operational adjustments.
Collaborate with agronomists, farm managers, and researchers to validate data findings.
Stay updated on emerging analytics technologies and methods.
