Placements24 is seeking a Senior 2D Animator to join our fully remote animation team. You will bring characters and stories to life using traditional and digital 2D animation techniques, with a strong eye for detail and animation principles.

Collaborate with directors, storyboard artists and fellow animators to translate scripts into engaging sequences, manage timelines in a remote setting, and mentor juniors while upholding project branding and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a 2D Animator with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 2D animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or After Effects.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, squash and stretch, and anticipation.

• Create high-quality 2D animations for characters, backgrounds, and special effects, ensuring fluidity and expressiveness.
