Job summary

Prescient seeks a Compliance Manager to lead the regulatory compliance team across Prescient Fund Services and Prescient Management Company. You will coordinate activities, maintain CRMPs, and report regulatory risks to executives, while ensuring adherence to SA regulations and group policies.

You will oversee licencing, reporting, and compliance controls, acting as FAIS CAT I officer and MLRO where applicable, with a focus on embedding a strong compliance culture throughout the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years compliance experience in a financial services environment.
• FAIS registered Compliance Officer for Cat I.
• Strong knowledge of South African regulatory framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the compliance team and activities.
• Oversee licensing requirements and regulatory obligations for the licensed entity.
• Act as FAIS CAT I, FIC MLRO, or S13B Compliance Officer as applicable.
• Develop and monitor Compliance Risk Management and Monitoring plans.
• Prepare reports to regulators and internal committees.
