Job summary

Exim International in Durban is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a five-person sales team within the butchery supply channel. You will drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and promote Exim's range of packaging, casings, machinery, spices, and ingredients.

The role requires proven sales leadership, regional strategy development, and the ability to manage key accounts such as Bluff Meat Supplies, Spar, PnP Franchise, Hypercheck, Boxer, and Shoprite.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum two years' sales experience in the butchery supply industry, plus at least three years in sales management.
• Strong knowledge of packaging, casings, butchery machinery, spices and ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional sales strategies and manage a five-person sales team.
• Drive sales growth, monitor performance, and optimise GP and volume.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and manage key accounts (Bluff Meat Supplies, Spar, PnP Franchise, Hypercheck, Boxer, Shoprite).
• Collaborate with supply chain and operations for order fulfilment.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for the National Sales and Operations Manager.
