Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking a hands-on Petroleum Area Operations Business Manager to oversee a portfolio of petroleum locations and Fast Food Restaurants in Richards Bay. You’ll own the numbers, the standards, and the people.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in petroleum location management, 5–7 years in multi-site operations, and proven branch or regional Fast Food management experience, plus strong financial, stock control and leadership skills. Extensive travel is required.

Qualifications

• General Fuel station / petroleum location management experience (8+ years)
• 5–7 years in multi-site operations
• Branch or Regional Management Fast Food experience (≥5 years) OR
• Branch / site petroleum experience
• Strong financial, stock control, and people management skills
• Valid driver's license — extensive travel required
• Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and POS systems

Responsibilities

• Drive GP% targets and conduct weekly financial reviews across all sites
• Enforce stock controls — shrinkage below 1%, fuel variances below 0.5%
• Maintain site standards: cleanliness, pricing, merchandising, and compliance
• Oversee cash, banking, reconciliations, and back-office accuracy
• Lead, coach, and performance manage Site Managers and Supervisors
• Handle recruitment, disciplinaries, and CCMA matters
• Ensure HSEQ compliance and full system accuracy across all platforms
