Radiant Hospitality Company is seeking an Executive Head Chef to lead the culinary function for a multi-site premium casual dining group across South Africa, based in Johannesburg or Cape Town. The role oversees two regional Head Chefs and a central support team, with responsibility for standards, training, and cost control.

You will drive menu development, audits, and brand integrity across locations, while advancing leadership pipelines and ensuring smooth project delivery, including new store

Qualifications

• Senior culinary leader with multi-site experience
• Proven brand standards and cost-control capability
• Formal culinary training and HACCP certification
• Willingness to travel between Gauteng and Western Cape

Responsibilities

• Oversee back of house operations across South Africa, setting regional culinary priorities aligned to group strategy.
• Directly manage and mentor two regional Head Chefs and the central culinary support team.
• Lead performance reviews and development planning for culinary leadership across the region.
• Protect and enforce brand standards across all concepts, conducting structured culinary audits and tastings across locations.
• Ensure menu rollouts are executed on time, with deviations from brand standards escalated and resolved.
• Maintain regional food cost performance within targets and oversee waste management strategies.
• Work with the Regional Director on SOP adherence and procurement alignment.
• Drive efficiency improvements across kitchens.
• Develop leadership pipelines and identify high-potential chefs for advancement.
• Ensure onboarding and training in collaboration with the group head of culinary training.
