Placements24 seeks a driven Management Consultant to join its Economic Development practice in Mahikeng, North West. You will advise regional governments, development agencies, and private sector entities on strategies to foster sustainable growth, job creation, and investment attraction.

You will conduct economic analysis, develop actionable plans, engage stakeholders, and contribute to policy formulation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in economic development consulting, policy advisory, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of regional economic dynamics, development theories, and policy instruments.
• Proven experience in economic analysis, impact assessment, and strategic planning for development.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse team settings and manage project deliverables.
• Familiarity with government development frameworks and funding mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct economic impact assessments and feasibility studies for development projects.
• Analyze regional economic data, market trends, and investment climates.
• Develop strategies for industrial development, infrastructure investment, and SME support.
• Advise on policy formulation and implementation to enhance the business environment.
