Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily delivery schedules for packages and orders within the **George, Western Cape** region.
• Plan the most efficient delivery routes, considering traffic, distance, and delivery time windows.
• Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and security of all items.
• Operate delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with all road regulations and company policies.
• Maintain delivery logs, obtain proof of delivery, and report on any issues or discrepancies.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance concerns promptly.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and provide status updates.
• Manage returns and pick-ups as required by the dispatch team.
• Spend a portion of the week coordinating logistics and administrative tasks from the **George** depot.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Code 10 preferred) with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrable experience in a delivery driver or logistics role within the **George** area.
