Job summary

Tsebo Solutions Group is seeking a capable Cleaning Operations Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning activities, manage site teams, and ensure compliance with hygiene and Tsebo quality standards. The role emphasizes staffing, training, and performance monitoring within a hospitality-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in cleaning operations, strong organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license with own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum Matric/Grade 12 with relevant tertiary in Retail, Operations or related field.
• 5 years in cleaning operations including team management.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Experience in hospitality is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations and supervise site teams.
• Ensure hygiene, safety, and Tsebo quality standards.
• Manage staffing, recruitment and training.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct site audits and resolve service issues.
• Manage budgets, stock and equipment usage.
• Promote sustainable cleaning practices and reduce waste.
• Drive innovation through new cleaning technologies and methods.
• Build strong client relationships and respond to service needs.
• Support Tsebo’s values through ethical leadership and operational excellence.
• Maintain accurate time and attendance records and ensure rostering accuracy.
• Ensure labor cost controls and use workforce management systems to monitor attendance and discrepancies.
• Ensure optimal management of labour to meet operational requirements.
