Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a General Manager to lead three bakeries in PMB, Durban, and Cape Town, driving the business strategy, cost leadership, and operational excellence. You will be accountable for performance, governance, and a high-performance culture across sites.

The role requires strong commercial, people and financial leadership to restore cost leadership, improve service and quality, and build a results-driven organization across the bakeries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years management experience in Logistics, Depot, Sales, Bakery and Production Management.

Responsibilities

• Drive Growth – EBIT and Volume across three bakeries.
• Deliver monthly and annual EBIT targets across the three bakeries.
• Drive volume growth in line with business targets and strategy.
• Optimise channel mix and improve profitable growth.
• Identify and execute opportunities to improve revenue, margins and market share.
• Ensure disciplined management of costs, productivity and profitability.
• Lead Supply Chain and Operational Excellence across the bakeries.
• Execute the Bakeries Business Strategy with clear priorities and actions.
• Track performance against targets and intervene early when off track.
