Tiger Brands is seeking a Sales/Distribution Manager to lead a sales team, direct distribution activities, and drive market share growth within the bakery sector. You will balance cost control with safe, reliable product availability across the distribution network.

You will manage relationships with stores, optimize merchandising and reporting, and ensure high service levels while meeting budgetary constraints. Prior experience in FMCG is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a Sales or Distribution Management role within FMCG.
• A relevant degree or diploma is required.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Able to develop and execute distribution strategies to grow market share.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the activity of a Sales team toward targets and KPIs.
• Grow volumes in existing markets and develop new markets and channels.
• Monitor sales activity and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
• Build strong relationships with store management to add value beyond service.
• Oversee merchandising planning and execution to meet brand/store demands.
• Lead debriefs at bakeries and depots to ensure data integrity for sales decisions.
