About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join their maintenance team based in Nelspruit . You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role requires a deep understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical components, and safety protocols. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of critical cooling systems for various business operations within the Mpumalanga province, contributing to operational continuity and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration units, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and display cases.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues, identifying faulty components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure systems are operating efficiently and to prevent future breakdowns.
• Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Read and interpret refrigeration schematics and technical manuals to guide repair and maintenance procedures.

Requirements
