Our client, a dynamic and growing recruitment consultancy based in Polokwane, Limpopo , is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to focus on the Retail and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, from local enterprises to national brands, helping them find exceptional talent for roles ranging from store management and sales to marketing and supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of the retail landscape and a passion for connecting people with fulfilling career opportunities. This hybrid role allows for a balance of office-based collaboration and remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for positions within the Retail and FMCG sectors.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their suitability for client roles.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their recruitment needs and business objectives.
• Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.
• Coordinate interview schedules and manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
• Achieve agreed-upon placement targets and contribute to team goals.
• Utilize the company's CRM and recruitment databases to track candidate information and recruitment activities.
• Stay updated on trends within the Retail and FMCG industries in the Limpopo region and nationally.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience, with a specialization or strong interest in the Retail or FMCG sectors.
• Proven ability to source and attract candidates for a variety of roles within these industries.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is preferred.
• A proactive and positive attitude, with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business, or Marketing is a plus.
