Job summary

Kabstrading Co in Durban is seeking a warehouse operative responsible for receiving and checking incoming goods, picking, packing and dispatching orders, and preparing waybills and delivery documents.

You will photograph items when required, track shipment statuses, work with sales and warehouse teams, assist with stock counts and safety compliance, and help identify more efficient ways of working. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness and safe handling of goods.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming goods and supporting paperwork.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer, delivery and courier orders accurately.
• Prepare waybills, invoices and supporting delivery documents.
• Photograph courier and delivery items where required.
• Track dispatched parcels and keep shipment statuses updated.
• Work closely with sales, warehouse teams and other branches.
• Load and offload goods safely and correctly.
• Assist with stock counts, inventory controls and discrepancy reporting.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with safety standards.
• Support service improvements and help identify better ways of working.
