Job summary

Kabstrading Co in Bloemfontein is seeking a warehouse receiving officer to manage inbound deliveries and ensure accurate stock recording in the system.

You will verify quantities, inspect goods, label and store stock, report discrepancies, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to maintain a clean, safe receiving area and compliant processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
• Capture received stock accurately on the warehouse management system
• Label and allocate stock to the correct storage locations
• Report damaged or incorrect stock to management
• Maintain accurate receiving documentation and filing
• Assist with stock counts and inventory control
• Ensure the receiving area is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments regarding deliveries
• Follow company policies and warehouse procedures
