Evergreens The Fresh Market in Kempton Park is seeking a Receiving Clerk for full-time day-to-day stock intake.

You will verify invoices against purchase orders, reconcile stock, scan items with Arch Mobile Scanners, and ensure correct barcodes and quantities.

Responsibilities include handling returns, communicating with buyers on discrepancies, and operating moving equipment; forklift/BT license is preferred and please include copies in your CV.

Formación

• FMCG and Fresh Produce experience and/or training in receiving duties of such goods.
• No drug use.
• Clear criminal record.
• Matric NSC Pass. Include matric certificate in CV.

Responsabilidades

• Use the corresponding Purchase Order for the correct invoice and reconcile stock accuracy.
• Communicate with the buyer if stock discrepancies are found and determine whether to take or reject stock.
• Assist with housekeeping of the receiving department and prepare returns for the next week.
• Use Arch Mobile Scanners to verify stock against orders and ensure correct barcodes.
• Ensure returns for relevant suppliers are processed timely with correct quantities.
• Operate moving equipment such as a BT and/or forklift; license preferred and copy to CV.

• When not busy; the Receiving Clerk will assist with housekeeping of the receiving department and getting returns ready for the next week of supplies.
• We use Arch Mobile Scanners to scan stock and make sure stock received has the correct barcodes and is the correct stock ordered as well.
• Ensure that returns for relevant suppliers get returned in a timely manner and with the correct quantities.
• You will be required to drive various moving equipment such as a BT and/ or Forklift therefore having a BT and/ or Forklift license is preferred. Please include copy of the license/s in your CV.
