Job summary

Isitha Global is expanding its private equity real estate platform to Cape Town. The role demands hands-on principal investment experience, strong equity underwriting skills and a track record of delivering high-quality investment analysis from opportunity through execution.

You will work closely with founders across Europe and South Africa, building financial models, investment memos, and investor updates while contributing to capital allocation decisions and exits.

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of relevant investment experience.
• Private equity/principal investment buy-side experience.
• Hands-on underwriting investments where equity capital is truly at risk.
• Experience building and reviewing sophisticated investment models.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite prospective investments from a private equity investor's perspective, assessing the thesis, risk and returns.
• Analyse acquisitions and evaluate new investment opportunities.
• Build and interrogate complex financial models across capital structures.
• Assess IRR, MOIC, cash flows, leverage and exit assumptions.
• Model downside cases, sensitivities and key investment assumptions.
• Prepare investment memoranda and committee materials.
• Support partners in evaluating and making investment decisions.
