Placements24 seeks a Real Estate Investment Associate to join our Durban team. You will assist in sourcing, evaluating, and executing property investments across multiple sectors, building robust financial models and due diligence dossiers for committee review.

You will interact with brokers and clients, conduct market studies, and support asset management activities. This role requires on-site presence in Durban and a proactive, detail-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field.
• 1–3 years of real estate investment or related analytical experience.
• Strong Excel-based financial modeling; Argus experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of real estate market dynamics and investment principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of Durban property market is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and evaluating real estate investment opportunities across office, retail, industrial, and residential properties.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies for investments in Durban and surroundings.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to analyze property performance and returns.

You will be involved in market research, financial analysis, due diligence, and the preparation of investment committee materials.
