Job summary

Isilumko Staffing is seeking a seasoned Reliability Engineer to champion RBI initiatives in Gauteng on a 3‑month contract. The role focuses on risk-based inspection programmes and maintenance strategies to safeguard asset integrity.

You will lead RBI exercises, collect data, and drive RBI, FMEA, and EMS procedures with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in reliability engineering, hands-on RBI experience, strong data skills, and the ability to relocate within Gauteng

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of experience in reliability engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in implementing and facilitating RBI programmes.
• Familiarity with FMEA and maintenance strategies.
• Reside in Gauteng or willing to relocate.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in data management and assessment tools.
• Experience with SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement and facilitate RBI programmes.
• Identify and define RBI boundaries for equipment and systems.
• Collect, validate, and capture equipment data within RBI software.
• Facilitate RBI review sessions using PCMS/PIMSlider.
• Develop RBI procedures and work instructions.
• Support site visits for field verification activities.
• Track RBI implementation across relevant systems.
• Facilitate and develop Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) for equipment.
• Develop Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.
• Track EMS implementation in relevant systems.
• Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and project success.
