Placements24 is seeking a Reliability Mechanical Engineer to enhance asset lifespan at sites in Polokwane. The role focuses on detecting potential failures and planning maintenance using data-driven strategies to cut downtime and costs.

You will implement RCM, perform RCA, and apply vibration/thermography for health monitoring while maintaining equipment databases and supporting maintainability improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on asset reliability.
• Proven experience with RCA methodologies and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards for asset management and reliability.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
