Job summary

Alstom in South Africa is seeking a senior Industrialization Lead to manage the development-phase manufacturing readiness. You will design and implement processes aligned with industrial requirements and QCD objectives, while coordinating closely with engineering and other functions within the PME department.

The role involves leading IMFU, P-FMEA, FAR/FAI activities, and ensuring timely, quality documentation and tool readiness for serial go.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in manufacturing, mechanical or electrical.
• Experience in Manufacturing/Engineering with focus on industrialization and process engineering.
• Familiar with CAD/PLM tools (CATIA, DELMIA).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) for BOM, routings, configurational follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Manage industrialization during development phase of the product.
• Ensure the process is designed and implemented in line with industrial requirements and project QCD objectives.
• Act as the main industrialization contact for all project functions and represent the PME department.
