Job summary

Quantum Foods has a career opportunity for a Quality Controller at our Pretoria North feed milling plant. The role reports to the SHEQ Specialist and focuses on quality of raw materials and finished product during shifts.

Key duties include sampling, data capture, lab hygiene, and maintaining ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance, with the expectation to work overtime and shifts when required.

Qualifications

• Matric required.
• 1–2 years relevant quality control experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in shifts.
• Willingness to work overtime and shifts.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain laboratory ingredients and equipment.
• Sample raw materials and finished products as required.
• Quality analyse raw materials, work in progress and finished products.
• Analyse, capture data and record information.
• Apply laboratory hygiene and safety procedures.
