Job summary

Quantum Foods is seeking a Quality Controller for our Nova Feeds Division at the Paterson plant, reporting to the SHEQ Specialist. The role focuses on quality of raw materials and finished products, with shift work and overtime.

You will prepare lab materials, sample materials, analyse quality, record data, maintain hygiene, and ensure ISO compliance across QA processes.

Introduction

Quantum Foods has a career opportunity within its Nova Feeds Division for a Quality Controller to join their dynamic team. This position will be based at our Feed milling plant in Paterson and report directly to the SHEQ Specialist. This position will primarily be responsible for a shift in the Quality of raw materials and final product.

• Prepare and maintain laboratory ingredients and equipment.
• Sample raw materials and finished products if required.
• Quality Analyse raw materials, work in progress and finished products.

• Apply laboratory hygiene and safety procedures.

• Comply to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Identify, record and communicate non-conforming products.

• Grading of Raw materials.
• Matric
• 1-2 years relevant experience
• Must be able to work independently
• Efficient in the use of Microsoft office
• Willing to work overtime and shifts
