Status Staffing is seeking a QC inspector for a permanent position in furniture manufacturing, located in the Western Cape. The role requires Matric and strong attention to detail, plus proficiency in MS Office.

You will inspect furniture at multiple production stages, identify defects, and help maintain quality standards. Starting salary ranges from R15 000 to R18 000 monthly, negotiable based on experience, with immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Previous QC or furniture industry experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Quality-oriented mindset.
• Own reliable transport.

Responsabilités

• Inspect furniture pieces at various stages of production and prior to dispatch.
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications.
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet company and client quality standards.
• Record, report, and follow up on quality issues with the production team.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
