Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Quality Control Supervisor in Tembisa, Gauteng to lead QA initiatives across production lines. You will establish rigorous QC standards, resolve defects, and foster a culture of quality awareness among teams.

The role requires a technical degree, at least five years in manufacturing QC, knowledge of ISO 9001 and SPC, and prior supervisory experience. You will document quality records and drive CAPA with engineering.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in quality control/quality assurance within a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Experience with quality inspection tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce quality control procedures across all production lines.
• Supervise and train quality control inspectors.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement CAPA to address defects.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality-related issues and improve processes.
• Maintain quality records and documentation for regulatory compliance and internal review.
