Placements24 is seeking a diligent Quality Control Engineer for our East London facility to uphold product and process quality. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, and collaborating with production, engineering, and R&D teams to address quality issues and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5 years' experience in quality control/assurance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality tools (Six Sigma, Lean).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions for process improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality non-conformances and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure adherence to quality protocols during manufacturing.
• Maintain quality documentation and prepare quality performance reports.
