Placements24 seeks a meticulous Chemical Engineer to lead its Quality Control efforts in Queenstown. You will establish rigorous testing protocols, analyze quality data, and work with production teams to address defects while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry and experience in QC/QA or analytical chemistry within the chemical industry.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or analytical chemistry within the chemical industry.
• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation and laboratory techniques.
• Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust quality control procedures and standards for chemical products.
• Oversee routine testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
