Placements24 is assisting a client in the aviation sector to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist for Kimberley, Northern Cape. The role focuses on maintaining and improving QMS, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and driving continuous improvement across operations.

The successful candidate will conduct audits, develop quality procedures and lead CAPA processes, with a strong eye for detail and a proven track record in aviation-related QA.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in aviation.
• Strong knowledge of QMS principles, ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards.
• Experience in internal audits and CAPA management.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations and SMS.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct internal audits of processes and procedures to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
• Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and implement corrective actions (CAPA).

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic organization within the **aviation** industry, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team in **Kimberley, Northern Cape**. This role is integral to maintaining and improving the quality management systems and ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits, developing quality procedures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across various operational areas. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of QMS principles, including ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards.
• Experience in conducting internal audits and managing CAPA processes.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety management systems (SMS).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Must be legally authorized to work in **South Africa** and based in or willing to relocate to **Kimberley, Northern Cape**.
