Job Description

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: September 15th, 2025 - December 16th, 2025

Our client, a leading global professional services organisation, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Practitioner with expertise in industrial plants (preferably within mining). The successful candidate will apply their knowledge to strengthen project deliverables across the full project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality outcomes and successful deployments. This role spans both infrastructure and application-based projects, requiring a strong foundation across all IT domains. You will review and advise on documentation from project initiation through to post-deployment closure, working closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects to ensure outputs align with industry best practices and internal standards.

What you will do
  • Review business requirements and provide expert guidance to Business Analysts.
  • Interpret and apply internal standards, recommending updates or new inclusions where necessary.
  • Assess project impacts on existing solutions and identify interdependencies across other ongoing initiatives.
  • Advise on reuse opportunities and alignment with broader enterprise goals.
  • Investigate and refresh existing standards to address gaps or outdated content.
  • Conduct on-site assessments of project execution.
  • Prepare reports detailing findings, risks, and remediation actions.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure quality assurance at every stage.
  • Promote best practices, considering life-of-mine maintenance approaches and minimising resource wastage where projects overlap.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality, reducing rework and inefficiencies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Honours degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Informatics.
  • 10+ years’ experience in relevant subject matter areas.
  • Enterprise Architecture certification: TOGAF 9 or 10.
  • Experience in design and maintenance within mining/industrial plants or Industrial OEMs.
  • Demonstrated exposure to complex, large-scale projects.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Strong leadership, ownership, and self-management skills with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • High proficiency in English (French proficiency a plus).

Technical expertise required:

  • Mining and/or industrial plant projects and processes.
  • Sensor-to-cloud data flow.
  • Cybersecurity for industrial systems.
  • Data backup and recovery methods.
  • Mining applications – Pit to Customer.
  • Data management: creation, reporting, and visualisation.
