About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the automotive manufacturing industry, is actively searching for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality control processes at their facility in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
• Oversee all quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and process audits.
• Investigate quality non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure quality is integrated into all stages of the manufacturing process.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report on performance to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international quality regulations and customer specific requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Manage supplier quality by conducting audits and assessing supplier performance.
• Champion a quality-first culture throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance management within the automotive manufacturing sector.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing robust Quality Management Systems.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and audit procedures.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in quality management software and statistical analysis tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding manufacturing environment in Port Elizabeth .
• Strong understanding of automotive industry requirements and best practices.
