Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality initiatives in Benoni. This role will develop, implement, and maintain the QMS to ensure products and processes meet stringent standards and customer expectations.

You will guide a QA team, drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with R&D and production to embed quality throughout development and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science; Master’s preferred.
• At least 7 years in QA/quality management with 3+ in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with SPC and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead and mentor the QA team and manage performance.
• Oversee quality control activities including inspections and audits.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Analyze quality data to drive continuous improvement and CAPA.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Science); Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant regulatory requirements.
