Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to lead their quality control and assurance efforts at their facility in George . This leadership position is critical for maintaining and elevating product integrity across all production lines. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for driving excellence in a manufacturing setting .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems (QMS) aligned with industry standards.
• Lead and mentor the QA team, providing guidance on inspection, testing, and process control methodologies.
• Conduct regular audits of production processes and finished goods to ensure compliance and identify non-conformities.
• Investigate quality issues, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and procurement to ensure product quality from design to delivery.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the manufacturing sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing QMS frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
