Job summary

SOLEVO Group, including Absolute Science, seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the team in Pretoria, Africa. You will ensure products, services and processes meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements and customer expectations under ISO/IEC 17025 and OECD GLP frameworks.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12.
• Degree in Quality Management.
• Three years of ISO17025:2017 experience.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and OECD GLP principles and regulatory expectations.
• Strong auditing, documentation, and CAPA management experience.
• Computerised system validation experience.
• Lead auditor certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve ISO/IEC 17025 and OECD GLP quality management systems.
• Assist internal audits and document reviews for compliance.
• Develop and implement quality procedures or processes.
• Share information and work cooperatively with others to obtain company objectives.
• Monthly backup of electronic documents and data.
• Assist with the maintenance and improvement of the CAPA program.
• Assist with the computerised system validation of laboratory systems.
• Assist with the verification of control charts in use in the laboratory.
• Assist with the reviewing of test reports.
• Assist with the administration of externally provided services and products.
• Assist with the risk assessment program in the laboratory.
• Prepare minutes of meetings (monthly meetings and annual management review).

We are seeking an experienced and talented professional Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team.

What do we expect from the candidate?

We expect the QA Coordinator to ensure that products, services, and processes meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

The Key Responsibilities

Management system

• Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the ISO/IEC 17025 and OECD GLP quality management systems.
• Provide feedback for laboratory meetings to ensure continuing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of the management system.

Technical Duties

• Assist with the maintenance, control and reviewing of all documents and records that form part of the Quality Management System.
• Assist with internal audits and document reviews to comply with the requirements of the management system, ISO/IEC 17025:2017, OECD GLP and SANAS documents.
• Assist with the development and implementation of quality procedures or processes.
• Share information and work cooperatively with others to obtain company objectives.
• Monthly backup of electronic documents and data.
• Assist with the maintenance and improvement of the CAPA program.
• Assist with the computerised system validation of all laboratory systems.
• Assist with the verification of all the control charts in use in the laboratory.
• Assist with the reviewing of test reports.
• Assist with the administration of externally provided services and products.
• Assist with the risk assessment program in the laboratory.
• Prepare minutes of meetings (monthly meetings and annual management review).

Supply Quality Controller

• Receiving stock arriving in the laboratory, checking the completeness of the documentation (delivery notes, invoices) when stock arrives.
• Inspecting stock for any discrepancies and releasing stock if accepted.
• Updating the Order List when stock has arrived.
• Evaluate new suppliers and re-evaluate current suppliers.

Assessment By External Bodies

• Participate and assist with assessments by external bodies to evaluate the Quality Management System.

Equipment Management

• Timely maintenance, verification, and calibration of analytical instrumentation.

Health And Safety

• Ensure that all health & safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to.

Must-Have

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Degree in Quality Management.
