Job summary

SOLEVO is seeking a hands-on operator in Pretoria to support forklift operations, product formulation, and manufacturing tasks. The role requires compliance with safety, quality, and site procedures and may include overtime or rotating 12-hour shifts.

You will work within a dynamic team handling raw materials, waste, effluent, and batch documentation, contributing to a growing chemical distribution operation in Africa.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 (Matric).
• 4–6 months working experience within the chemical industry.

Responsibilities

• Forklift operation.
• Formulating products.
• Manufacturing plant operations.
• Weighing materials.
• Housekeeping.
• Product filling.
• Track raw material stores activities.
• Waste handling.
• Effluent treatment and handling.
• Wear required PPE as specified in product batch sheets and the RAIMS.
• Accountable for own basic discipline, following instructions, timekeeping, adhering to all company procedures including Safety, Manufacturing, Site, Quality control regulations and procedures.
• Responsible for reporting all safety accidents and incidents, near misses and any other abnormal observations and/or events to the Team Leader.
• Flexibility for overtime and rotating 12-hour shifts.

• This role requires flexibility, including the possibility of overtime and must be willing to work rotational 12-hour shifts.

• 4 – 6 months working experience within the chemical industry.

• Forklift License.

• Must be physically fit.
