King Price Insurance is seeking an intermediate QA engineer to ensure quality and performance of digital solutions in the life insurance domain. The role blends manual exploratory testing with automated test engineering focusing on Angular front-ends and Java/Spring Boot microservices on AWS.

You will design modular automated tests with Katalon Studio, integrate them into CI/CD, perform API and DB validation with SQL, and collaborate in an Agile environment to uphold regulatory and data security

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a formal QA role.
• Hands-on web UI and API test automation using Katalon Studio.
• Experience with Angular front-ends and Java/Spring Boot backends.
• Experience with AWS and SQL for data validation.
• Knowledge of POPIA/regulatory security is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests across UI and API layers.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain test assets.
• Validate Angular front-ends, Java/Spring Boot services, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Dev and Product in Agile/Scrum environment.
• Document test plans and report defects via Jira.
