Job summary

EdUpStairs is seeking a qualified finance/public administration professional in Ermelo, Mpumalanga. The role focuses on administering payments, billing, and debt reconciliation within the municipal finance environment.

The ideal candidate will hold Grade 12 and an ND in Finance or Public Administration, with at least three years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of public sector prescripts including PFMA, Treasury Regulations, BAS and LOGIS.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus ND in Finance/Public Administration (NQF Level 6).
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of prescripts in Public Service and Property Management (PFMA, Treasury, BAS, LOGIS).
• Computer literacy, communications, negotiations, financial management, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer payment of property rates and taxes.
• Administer payment of municipal services charges.
• Administer stop orders for lease payments and cancellations.
• Administer billing of shared services and private tenants.
• Render reconciliation of debtors.
• Supervise provision of administrative support services.
