Job summary

FirstRand Limited through FNB Public Sector, Bloemfontein, seeks an experienced Public Sector Regional Director to lead and grow the regional portfolio. You will build relationships with government stakeholders, drive revenue growth, and lead high-performing teams delivering innovative banking solutions that create value for clients and communities.

The role requires strategic planning, risk governance, and an ability to translate business plans into actionable sales strategies.

Qualifications

Finance related NQF7 or Bachelor of Honour in Commerce.
RE 5 qualification is required.
RE 1 will be an added advantage.
Valid Driver’s license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

Develop tactical plans to drive revenue growth.
Implement the business Transformation plan and create an inclusive culture for employees.
Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in area of expertise.
Define and drive the tactical sales strategy for area of responsibility.
Deploy integrated risk management, governance and compliance frameworks.
Design and deliver customer service solutions aligned to values and service standards.
Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders to support innovation and integrated solutions.
Identify and implement policies, procedures, standards and frameworks to enhance sales and profitability.
Lead with product and sales skills across areas of responsibility.
Demonstrate leadership through involvement, commitment and dedication.
